I'm not exactly sure what specifically about this blend you're asking how to do, but check out our blending tutorials; the one you posted appears fairly complex, so if you're just starting out, your end result is probably not going to look like the one you posted.. practice makes perfect.

doesnt look like blending to me
looks like cutting it out (lasso tool if using ps) and then pasting it somewhere. and then blending in some places, but that's really easy. the tuts posted up there should teach you the blending there. red = blend black = copy&pasting? http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/5750/asdbk9.png |
