If my agency tells me to take out my nose ring do you think I should do it? Do you think it would lesson my chance for magazines and such to choose me? I think I look just fine with it though. Also, do you think I have a high chance of being accepted?

what do you think?

I think you have potential!

If it is what you want to do, go for it!

Some bigger/higher quality pictures of you from different angles would be nice also. laugh.gif

When I go into my agency audition tomorrow if they accept me I am going to have pictures taken and a different portfolio on a better website because i'll actually have an agency.

Take it out if you plan on doing "regular" modeling (not fetish, artsy, etc). I don't think I've EVER seen a model with facial piercings, except for those who are already famous singers / bands.

Moved to fashion.

if you want to get into modeling, yes take out the piercings. it makes you so much more approchable and versitile. listen to what your agency tells you to do. they are the experts and they want you to succeed. and good luck!

^Yeah here.

Ok, first things first. If you want to model, YES you have to take out your nose ring. Wash all that eyeliner off too, you have to be a blank palette. Is that the picture you're planning to show up with? Don't if you are, it's better to go with nothing then with a photo that screams myspace.

Wait I clicked on your portfolio link and it came up with new faces. Please tell me they aren't who you're talking about. You do realize they just got sued for well over 200,000 dollars for running a scam?

5'6? What kind of model are you talking about?

For anything in fashion they usually like between 5'7 and 6'1

Sounds about right, when you compile all models, including catalogue models. On the runway, though, it's almost a requirement to be taller than 5'9. Unless you're amazing, like Kate Moss.

Use better treatment to reduce red pigmentation on your face. You dont see models walking down with bad-looking skin. Yes, they are caked with makeup, but chances are better/better bonus if their face is near-clear before being accepted into modeling agency. You got to have a great impression to attract them. they are paying for your LOOKS. goodluck.

what's 5'7? usually girls who're 5'6" can do commercial print modeling, but generally you have to be at least 5'9" to do runway.
