What do u think of girls having plastic surgery?? For example, a girl with small breasts who embiggens them... or getting rid of a big nose... or having lip enchancement..

I've found lots of befores and afters here http://plasticsergeant.com/home
and I think after ops look a lot more beatiful, than before-op pics

Personally i am thinking of having some of the procedures in future. But most of my friends (guys) say that it's not quite normal.

What can u say?

Don't do it. There's not much else I can say, but people with morals or high values would look down on you if they knew you had plastic surgery. If you must, do it when you move to a new country where nobody knew what you looked like BEFORE you got surgery, because you will be branded "fake" by everyone who knew you had plastic surgery.

I agree with the person above.

Dont do it

Things can go wrong in the operations and u could look worse at the end of it. But it is ur choice so do wateva u want when your older... people have different opinions on these things.

If you loved yourself and had respect for your body, you wouldn't do a damn thing to change the gift you've been given. Well, now that I think about it, maybe excercise but that's healthy. Beauty is overrated.

It's your life, so just please really think about it.

If you want to do it go ahead. The results may look great, if done by a professional. But as forewarning, there's always room for errors; Don't bitch and moan if it doesn't come out the way you wanted too, and that you wasted your money. But if it works, good for you. Screw anyone that says your fake:)

The only time I find beautification surgery okay is when someone is so over-weight they can't even walk without having a hard attack, in said case they should have enough fatty reduction so you can begin to help themselves into getting in shape.
However, I don't think other surgeries are WRONG per-se, but I would recommend possibly talking to someone(therapist) about doing it for the wrong reasons.

If you do it, and your friends disown you, then they weren't worth keeping around to begin with. Family members will likely eventually come around to the new you. Any one else who downs on you doesn't likely know you well enough to have a valid opinion.

It gives them a boost of self confidence, but a lot of times people go over board and end up just looking 10x's worst than the way they started. I wouldn't get surgery.

I think that if you do it for yourself(for a confidence booster), I'm all for it. As long as you aren't doing it to satisfy anyone else.

Lol, there is nothing in this world that could compel me to get plastic surgery. WORK WHAT YA MOMMA GAVE YA ! :)

Embiggens -> That made me laugh real hard when I read it. Is that even a word?

Yeah, I dont think that's a word in the Englsih language.
I think she meant enlargened, if that's how you spell it. tongue.gif

There's a topic simular to this in the Debate forum:
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=182474

I think that if you were born with a deformity, or have gone through something that had made you look less than "normal" that it shouldn't be an issue. There's also health benefits to getting some things done, like better breathing when you get your nosed fixed. There are also problems that people are born with that cosmetic surgery lets them fix, like with breasts. There are mom's who want to get their old body back and can only accomplish that by having a tummy tuck and breast lift/augmentation.

I don't think it's a question of whether or not a person should do it, but the reasons behind it.

in general, i'm against plastic surgery... i don't think the world needs any more cookie cutout barbie dolls... mattel's got that covered thank you! however, i think that there are certain circumstances where plastic surgery is ok... for example, i just had a baby and there are things that pregnancy does to a woman's body that diet and exercise just can't fix... so a little help is ok... for people who are morbidly obese, although there are other options, plastic surgery may be the right choice...

what it basically comes down to is: no one has the right to tell someone else what is right and wrong for their body... what you want to do to yourself is your business and no one elses... you have to live with yourself, so do it the way you feel the most comfortable...

I don't think you should care what other people say. You should do whatever makes you feel beautiful and comfortable. happy.gif

I wouldent do it, unless you were in an accident, were born with a deformity, or obese people who need to lose weight, because working out and excersizing cant fix everything. People who get plastic surgery are fake. When people find out you had it done everyones going to look at you differently. Plus, theirs always room for error so if something goes wrong dont complain that you wasted your money or whatever. Oh, and some people get addicted to plastic surgery and get it repedly and they end up looking worse then they did when they first got it.

I personally wouldn't go with plastic surgery.

I agree with the others, I wouldn't unless something happened that required me to get surgery to benefit my health in some way.

Plastic surgery is waaay expensive and it comes with risks that would make you end up regretting it...

I think Ashlee Simpson looked better before her plastic surgery. She was unique.

Now she looks like a Jessica clone. Bluck.

It depends on the situation. If you are just getting it because you want to, then ....dont do it.
But if you were in an accident, and need to get it done, then that is fine.
Like my best friend had to get her nose fixed after an accident.
Sooo yeah.
