my sister gave me this plaid skirt, but i'm not sure how to make it look cute, but 90's style. any ideas?

i was thinking about a tank top under a white dress shirt with a couple buttons on the top undone, but i thought that would be a little slutty...

I think anything White or DARK Navy blue would look good with it.

Be careful and don't make the shirts too tight though because you might look like a slutty school girl mellow.gif

I think this though mainly depends on what color the plaid is.

I don't believe you stated... If you could find a picture of it, it would help greatly or atleast explain it wink.gif

You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

I'd wear dark tights under them (not leggings) and maybe a lightweight knit sweater on top, like this:

yeah that pic ^^ was a good example. you want to kinda play up the school girl look, just don't actually look like you're a school girl, you know? look at the plaid at what colors are in the plaid and then play up on those. is it a blue/red/white plaid? play up on the red with like a red henley top or a blue v-neck. make it cute and a bit sexy (not slutty school girl!!) a perfect way to play it up for fall is to pair it with some tights and ankle boots...ooooh and with a matching cardigan! here's my perfect outfit with that theme:
-plaid skirt (lets say its the red/navy/white scheme)
-white, black, or navy tank/top
-navy, charcol, or black cardigan (make it a big one to balance the shortness of the skirt)
-grey tights
-black ankle boots.
perfect!!
