I was a loser :(

Well, until I bought some friends with sticky-tack (whatever it's called; true story). Then we started our exclusive Spice Girls group, and I was so kewl.

I love childhood. :)

We fought over classroom chores. No one wanted to be the trash-taker-outer.

Me & my best friend would hide under our hot pink Gap sweaters away from the older 5th graders.

I was a genius.

I don't mean to sound conceited, but I seriously was haha. I had to have my own curriculum within my class, because the work was just too easy. I was also the class bully. I use to pinch, scratch, and hit other children, as well as verbally abuse them. =/

I used to be the kid that would go around the playground pretending to be a pony. ^^ Good times.
I miss being able to do weird crap like that without being asked if I was ever dropped on my head as a kid...

OH! I also wanted to be an ant killer. Not just pest control but exclusively an ant killer. Or an alien... >.>

I was completely the opposite of what I am now. What I am now is an artsy actress chick, and back then I was a "queen bee". Not even kidding, I used to be actually popular. Now I'm...not :P But I like where I am now, I wouldn't want to go back to where I used to be.

Hmm I just remember really be a loner almost o_O although I got along with these 3 guys because they liked pokemon just as much as I did and one of them his name was Jerad; his grandma was best friends with my grandma...so were actually still friends surprisingly. Oh yea and this guy Eric use to think we were a couple and going out and use to follow me around at recess and then he started telling like the whole school we were going out so I told him it was over mellow.gif

Oh, and I was actually kind of smart back then. At least the smarter of my class than I am now. I used to try to catch butterflies. If all the swings were occupied you could go up to any random person and count to 20 and then make them get off afterward. Well actually you had to count your one alligator/mississippi whatever.

I lived in a place called Cohoes in 2nd grade, a place that has now turned to complete shit after drugs came in. I was one of the most popular mo-fos in the school, though I hung around with some pretty geeky kids. I got into fights a lot because I was poor, but everyone knew me and most people liked me.
Then I moved to another city, not the first nor the last time that happened. Now this new city was called Troy, a place already overrun by drugs and gangs and being poor, we lived in the shittiest part. I never left my house because back then people would fight you for no reason other than that they were bored. I went to a private school during all this and anyone who's ever went from a public school to a private school may know that they are all much smarter than you. So I started reading a lot. A LOT a lot. And I gained weight, which after almost twelve years I've never gotten rid of.
Though I read enough so as to not seem retarded, I still fell short and eventually was expelled in the middle of 4th grade following an incident with my brother. I was then put into public school and anyone who's ever went from a private school to a public school may know that they are all retards. So I stopped trying. I did well enough on tests to pass, but I never did homework and would sometimes skip school out of fear of getting a beat down by whatever gangster wannabe impersonating their brothers was looking for something to do.
My own brother seemed to fall right in with that crowd and would torment me at home as well. I was never really singled out, but I was the smartest kid in class by far and would always have my head in a book to drown out what was happening around me, so I had my fair share of ridicule.
This was kind of when a depression started that really hasn't gone away since. I was having problems at school, my mother was very strict and didnt like to be bothered(mainly due to problems my brother started) and said brother was torturing me almost on a daily basis(that is not an exaggeration in the slightest).
I was ten and was already having thoughts of suicide which I think probably saved my life because if this had occured at any later time in my life I probably would have done it. Instead I developed a very unhealthy habit of bottling all my aggression and sadness inside which occasionally comes out at strange times.
I really dont have too many happy memories of my childhood except for when either my brother was in a home or when I was with my friends and outside of the house. I spent a lot of time in front of the tv and in my bedroom with my head in the books, any book, mostly retarded pre-teen books with an occasional Stephen King or Anne Rice or Dean Koontz thrown in.
This went on for a good four years and in the summer before 8th grade I moved back to Cohoes but couldn't really gain the status I once had because I was a completely different person due to my experiences. I gradually fell back behind the scenes of everything, not really making myself known at all. If anyone did know me, they knew me through association only and that continues to today, much to my chagrin.
I moved once more and kept myself completely back.
I don't want anyone to get the idea that I was the kid no one talked to. Like I said I was known. Everyone knew me, but only by association. I was funny and I kept in touch with friends Ive had since I was in third grade, friendships which continue to this day. I've always been able to make myself known, but hold myself back just enough.
Because of my habit of not applying myself in school I failed my senior year twice, dropped out, got a GED and am currently attending a community college with an unchosen major and am holding a part-time job in a mall that I've had for almost two years. I am in the system for a State job and so far have been on one interview but did not get the job.
Because of my years of reading in solitude, Ive developed a skill of putting words together easily. If that turns into a career, that would be great. For now, its just a hobby.

This was about the time that Power Rangers sucked and Pokemon came around. I was a huge Power Rangers fan, but I didn't understand the whole Pokemon thing. Tamagotchi's were a hit and maybe Furby's were around, too. We had weird fantasies of being top-notch Tamagotchi makers...from home. We were going to be billionaires. In our spare time, we played four square and spent all of our time on the jungle gym. I was also bus captain. I wouldn't say I was popular, but I wasn't anything short. We have to remeber, though, that this is around the time when "hate" wasn't even a word, or really didn't mean anything, and we were "all brothers and sisters in God's way".
