Did anyone know that there was a meteor shower last night? |

I knew for a month.
And when it came to last night, I was excited. I became an insane person and went out into the backyard, sat in a lounge chair, and watched the sky. There were a lot of pretty stars. I stayed out there for 30 minutes or so and only saw one meteor fly across the sky. It was cool!! I wish I was in the country, that way I most likely would've been able to have seen more. But I'm happy with just one! :) What about you? ======= Oh and, on another note: Sometime around a fully moon(which will be the 27th, 28th, and the 29th) there should be a two moon event. That means that Mars will be so close that it is the same size as our own moon. But my dad told me it happens around midnight at I start school the 27th so, I'm not sure if I'll beable to see it or not. Hopefully! |

cool! i wanted to go outside by the time they said that there's a meteor shower.. but it's raining in our place.. i haven't gone out and i did try to watch the sky at the window but it began to rain so hard that i have to close the window.. lolx

I'm not really updated on these meteor showers. I usually just hear about them from my sister. The last time I saw one was when I was 3.

I didnt know about it.
A few years ago, there was one, and my brother, mom, and I woke up at like 5 AM and watched it, it was sorta cloudy, but we could still see it. |

^^ Yeah, there's a lot of air pollution in NYC so it would have been difficult to see the meteor shower. I knew about it, but thought I wouldn't be able to see it because of all the pollution.

Yeah I was outside for a lonnnnng ass time and we saw maybe 4 all together. It was pretty nice to just look at all the stars though.

I didn't know. The last and only time I ever saw a meteor shower was when I was in third grade back in Japan. That was pretty.

I knew about it far in advance, and I live in a perfect place for viewing. The only problem was that I had to wake up early this morning and I did NOT want to get eaten by mosquitoes - they're really bad this year.

yes. meteor showers arent rare. sadly, i never get to see them for some reason. o_O I look at the time, but like.. NOTHING is there.. lol
