first layout i did for myself. My myspace portfolio. I starting to get some client. ($100 per design) I will save up the money for a camera.
you can view it using ex or firefox. but ex better because of the scroll bar. my last post got people all arguing.  some people do custom design for $20? do they really value their design that low? i think $100 is cheap. |

no offense, but i wouldnt pay $100 for that. I charge people $200 for webpage design, not myspace. I think myspace is too easy to design to pay $100, i only charge them $40 for myspace. Lol. Then again I stop doing it because I cant take peoples order Lol.
On your portfolio myspace, i like the map. hate the footer. and also the link fonts is.. bleh. |

lol $100 for myspace i think is still cheap. I was thinking $250. first 5 clients special offer $100

I think its ok but it could be a ltitle more organized especially if your goal is to get clients out of it. The map thing seems a little random to me. I think if you moved the about me down just a tad it'd be better. The brushes go over the box and don't look as good as they would hitting the darker background instead. The whole right column seems somewhat thrown together. You should of made headers or something. Even the ones like the "Friends and comments" one would be fine. Something to tell its section per section yet while making it professional at the same time. I also think you could of came up with something better for the friends & commetns and music videos areas. It seems so out of place.Thats my opinion , I think it should look better or more neater and organized if you want to pick up clients but yea.. *shrugs*

i like ur layout
but never in a million years would i pay money for that, it isn't good enough to charge so much for the map and navigation are good, the rest is boring, and looks like u quit designing after u got past the very top of the page |

I agree with everyone else I wouldn't charge/pay that much money for that design but I like your layout a lot.

People charge up to 400-500. With an design like that, $100 to me is pretty cheap. Your navigation is a bit hard to read though dude. Maybe if it was a bit darker or lighter, it would look a lot better. Though I do like the whole design a lot. |

I'm sorry. It just pisses me off when people agree with one another... and saying "Like omgosh!!!! I would never pay $100 for that design" and blah blah blah. Just defending you Thien.

Just defending you Thien. i didnt say that out of agreement. i would have said it anyway because i wouldn't pay 100 bucks for that and i dont think a lot of other people will. especially since ur just starting out making myspace layouts for people. in the business world over charging for work that doesn't back up the price doesn't get u anywhere. i like the layout, but i don't think it looks finished, i think there's a lot u could tweak, toya's (freeflow) post pretty much hit all the points. especially what she said about moving the about me down some. it kinda looks all squished up towards the top. i agree with drifted that the navigation would stand out more if the color was changed. |

i redid the whole thing. That it i wont change it anymore. Let just said there is a lot of div over div

OMG! 100 dollars for a design... for like Blogs and Fansites it's eigther Image Accounts or like MAXIMUM 10 dollars, but for my moms business, i'm charging like 25 dollars for 1 page.... and she only wants like 3-5 pages...
