ok so i used that dumb simpson thing.. to make ur profile better and blah blah but now i can't seem to get anything back.. like if i have a new background/layout ... it wont let me change the background color...

like i have a brown layout but some how my background color is black still
wtf do i do

Try putting an # before your color codes. I'm not sure if it will work for you but it did for me.

^Myspace doesn't recognize hex codes with a number symbol before them.

I've seen a lot of profiles that have been private but still have styling which was odd. It has something to do with your editing section, did you pick a style already set for your profile? By that UserStyle style code it looks like you have.

It only works in Internet Explorer. Click edit profile > then there will be three links, click the third one on the far right (Profile Editor). Here, you can customize the style, themes, etc. I believe you went there previously and added the background color black. If you ever need to clear anything that you didn't add by regular coding, click Clear All. This is just for future reference but I thought I would fix your problem and tell you so you would be aware of what caused it.
