Matilda: I've been trying to reach you for a week.
Derek Zoolander: A week? What, are you having a whack attack? I saw you this afternoon, dum-dum.
Matilda: That was last Friday.
Derek Zoolander: Uhh Earth to Matilda, I was at a day spa. Day, D-A-I-Y-E. Okay?

Do you lose track of time often? What makes you lose track of time most?

Reading does that to me. Or when I'm out having fun, like today I spent the afternoon with my boyfriend at this beach place and it felt like half an hour had past, then I checked the time and it had been hours.

i set timers on pretty much everything.

my phone has alerts every single damn day because i have meetings for work and societies all the time, so it's hard for me to forget the clock. at work, we have to get bread out and around the restaurant every 3-4 or 6-7 minutes, depending on how busy it is, and the timers are always set for potatoes or desserts or the meat in the back... so i've been keeping track of time even more than before.

i slack more on my mental timer when i'm around my ex, but i still have a constant time thing because i usually have to be somewhere by some specific time.. especially home, because if my parents get home before i do, i'm dead.

Derek Zoolander: Do you understand that the world does not revolve around you and your do whatever it takes, ruin as many people's lives, so long as you can make a name for yourself as an investigatory journalist, no matter how many friends you lose or people you leave dead and bloodied along the way, just so long so you can make a name for yourself as an investigatory journalist, no matter how many friends you lose or people you leave dead and bloodied and dying along the way?

It depends, but usually at work, when it's busy I forget what time it is until it slows down a bit.
