How much do you guys get for an allowance? Do you even get an allowance?

I get an allowance every Saturday. $15. I dont really even do anything..

varies for me, 60-100 a week dpending if I visit my mom on the weekends.

Hmm idk i guess my parents must have tried at some point bt that didnt work. they forgot sometimes sometimes they would just give me more or less. AHH it was a mess.

I miss the days I had an allowance, just to do simple little things around the house. Enjoy your money for the simple responsibilities you have... because once you start to work, there's no more asking mommy and daddy for money. Unless it's to help you with school and or transportation.

samee! i help with bills like electricity and water and insurance though, so that's kind of rent for me, lol. i'm not going to get kicked out if i don't pay bills, but it's just kind of like. if you have a job, you're helping with our bills because we're not wasting gas so you're the only one that profits. so i'm fine with that :)

i never got the whole deal with kids getting more than like.. a couple dollars a week. i think parents who give their kids like $20 are f**king insane... i know this one girl who gets $60/month and it's like.. um, what exactly did you do to earn that money?

i hate it when people don't do shit and get money from their parents. or when they do little chores like dishes and laundry and mopping and babysitting and get PAID for that. f**k, that's what kids are supposed to do for free. it's training, you're not going to get paid to take care of your own stuff when you're an adult.

I get 5 bucks a week for doing a CRAP LOAD OF CHORES.

I have to buy my own clothes. My mom will sometimes buy me jeans, but thats like two pairs per year.
I ask for my parent for a raise, but my dads an idiot. I rarely ever spend anything, that means I barely have any clothes. Im saving up for a car, because my parents wont get me one.

Its not like we a poor or anything, middle class.

And I dont want to ask my mom for money because I dont really need it, I have money, I just dont want to spend it on clothes. If I had more money, Id spend more.

I don't get allowance anymore... Now that I'm a college student and working, I'm supposed to be using the money that I earn.
But my parents still give me money if I really need it.

Oh.My.God. If I had to pay for the food I ate I would probably go hungry.

All I do to earn my allowance is clean the cat litter, feed the cats. And I get $15 for that..
