"They have got until tomorrow (Saturday) at noon to withdraw their troops from Afghanistan, or otherwise we will kill the 18 Koreans," Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, who claims to speak for the Taliban, told the Associated Press on a satellite telephone from an undisclosed location. "Right now they are safe and sound."

Outmatched by foreign troops, the Taliban often resort to kidnapping civilians caught traveling on treacherous roads, particularly in the country's south, where the insurgency is raging. The tactic hurts President Hamid Karzai's government by discouraging foreigners involved in reconstruction projects from venturing into remote areas where their help is most needed.

The abductions came a day after two Germans and five of Afghan colleagues working on a dam project were kidnapped in central Wardak province.

I have the right to say that. Taliban is a faggot and Iraqi people (referred to iraqi people living in iraq) are dangerous people doing dangerous things. Not all iraqis are dangerous people. it is only the suicide bomber and the like aare dangerous

And didn't this incident happen in afghanistan not iraq

Afghanistans, Iraqi's, same bullshit. I mean why the f**k would Taliban kidnap them for? What have koreans done to him? What have THEY done to him? They were just innocent, kind hearted christians coming on a mission to Afghanistan from South Korea to service and to make a difference ... yet, a f**king Afghan/Iraqi has to break all our hearts. Afghanistan and Iraq are two very different places and situations. Not all Iraqi's are alike, as hard as it is to say. You do realize that we're at war with them? Are this passionate about them killing Americans as you are with them kidnapping Koreans?

I heard that in the airport that they were in, there was a message/sign that told the people to be careful when going to Afghanistan because of Taliban.. and they should really think before they go. But they just went anyway. An Afghanistan police said that they should've told him to sorta guard them, but they didn't which is most probably the reason why they were kidnapped..?

Not many Iraqis are actually part of the insurgency in Iraq, saying they are is like saying all koreans are crazy killers.

It was 23 people who were kidnapped, and two of them died.. one was sick so they shot him (I think) and the other was just shot.. I didn't see or read the news yet, but they threatened to kill 4 more people pinch.gif
