So, my high school is selling a unique Starbucks coffee blend this coming school year. My Digital Art teacher was informed that students could submit designs and that one might be chosen... so naturally... I had to try. They had nothing to go by - no brew name or anything. So I had to come up with a brew name and a design. I WAS CHOSEN!

Brew Name: Caffé Acqua Vivente (Living Water)
-My school is a Christian school so I played off the Word being living water-

UPDATED WITH DECAF LABEL
I still have to get it down to specs now, but I'm having fun! I'll probably post the final product in the next few days.

That looks VERY nice. Did you use a font for the 'living water' text? It looks hand-written and done well.

^ Yeah, I used JaneAusten - I like how it doesn't look like a font in lowercase _smile.gif
Thanks!

That's awesome Rachael! What a good opportunity to get noticed in the web design/graphic design world. I personally think it looks great! Good job on the brew name too. biggrin.gif

Thanks guys biggrin.gif I updated it to include the decaf label - Starbucks always changes the background color scheme between the regular and decaf blends. Geez, I had to do research!

HOW AWESOME! That is pretty cool! You have starbucks @ you're highschool!? The design is pretty sweet.

However, it reminds me of that logo in LA or NYC sort of, that one coffee place. I forgot what it's called. Other then that, it's good.

Maybe a representative for Starbucks will come across this thread shifty.gif

It's really nice (although I know nothing about starbuck labels, lol). You never cease to amaze me.

It's great. The only thing is, if this is going to be used commercially, you need to ask Inxsomniax (hybrid-genesis) if you can use her texture as a background. Or is that just temporary?

^ Thing is, hybrid-genesis says that the textures can be used for school projects, and that was what this was originally. I have been wondering though if that's pushing the line. Technically it was a school project, but now that's been turned into something more. I guess I'll have to design my own texture. That's no big deal.. it's just more work XD.gif

Edit: Texture done, and I like this even better than before! Thanks... I might've ended up in some sort of legal trouble.

If there's a possibility of making money off of it, or it being used for advertising, then she needs to know.

Shouldn't be that difficult to make your own background though _smile.gif
