What type of layout?

P.S. You should have posted here http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showforum=92

It would be nice if people read the 'Before you post' things and looked at all the different subforums.

Look at the forum labeled Resource Center. Go in there and see if your question is already answered. The search function works pretty well if you use it. Chances are your question's been answered.

I'm not too proficient with coding :( Just look through your overall layout thing and find where it dictates the color as whatever series of numbers. Then look up some color # list thing and just type in the # of the color you want.

I will gladly move your topic to where it needs to go, but I need you to tell me what type of layout help you need. We have several help subforums (ie MySpace Support).

/EDIT - you posted at the same time I did! XD

Moved to MySpace support

Also if you click 'Add Reply' and look at the Quick Access thing to the bottom left you can highlight your thing and click Codebox

CODE

A view of your actual page will help pin point the problem a bit more, that's all. =)

Also, people are trying to help here. Please be patient with those who are only trying to assist you.

CODE
scrollbar-arrow-color:######;

The ###### needs to be changed to a Hex code

CODE
<a href="http://comment.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewComments&friendID=XXXXXX"><b>Comment</b></a>

You need to replace the XXXXXX with your friendid. Instructions for that can be found here.

Those are a couple of examples of how to apply a layout to your MySpace.

You should NOT be messing around with sizes. For one, you are obviously unfamiliar with html/css and it also isn't respectful to the designer when you screw with the integrity of the original code. Just a couple of hints. ;)

The link to the layout you want doesn't work. Can you relink the layout itself. The designers typically leave instructions and I'm curious as to what the instructions look like.

And applying layouts can be very intimidating, especially when you are unfamiliar with coding. Just be patient with us as we try to help you out. Know that the more specific you are with questions, the more specific answers you will receive. =)

the borders on the boxes cannot be changed because they are a part of the actual image. (i doubt the designer would want that.)

to create paragraphs, do this.

CODE
<p>PUT STUFF THAT YOU WANT HEREE...</P>
<P>START NEW PARAGRAPH HEREE, CONTINUE THAT PATTERN FOR HOWEVER MANY PARAGRAPHS YOU WANT.</P>
<P>NEW ONE HERE</P>
<P>AND HEREE</P>

for reason the <FONT> TAG isn't working...h/o
