So I started on a layout, made the header, but I can't think of anything creative to to for my content boxes.



any one have a suggestion for what I could do?

It looks good so far! You could add some brushes and a texture.

The typical skinny navigation column and a wider blog-type column would work well. Or you can keep the two columns but make them fixed sizes, as in rectangles or rounded rectangles. Yeah, not very creative. What sort of text content are you looking to put up?

my idea at first was two column rectangles but I didn't think it brought anything fresh to the table

as far as brushes and a texture, any suggestions for specific ones or at least specific sites?

You can find textures and brushes at Hybrid Genesis. They have some good textures and brushes. wink.gif

i agree with alvin about the brushes and textures. I would personally do a 2 colomned layout, but thats me. Maybe make the borders a bit different not just lines.
