Just curious: Does anyone have one true best friend? Or do you have many close friends? Throughout my senior year, I've seen that I only really had one true blue friend who was always there for me; despite whatever happened.
 How about you guys??

The first one and I parted ways naturally, like, she was my true best friend, but things change. The second one will be there for me no matter what, even if he is a big idiot. :) |

I've got three really awesome best friends. Victor (ex boyfriend), Christine (My Asian Twin), and Sam (another ex boyfriend but one that I was friends with since I was a baby and so yeah...)

What i consider to be a best friend is someone i can trust forever. Someone who won't ditch me for other friends. Someone who can listen. Someone who believes in me. Someone who is who they truly are, in front of me. I've seen all that but it has all died down. There's been more than one person that I've seen this happen in, and therefore i never label anyone my 'best friend' anymore. Until I've seen all that, and I know it's going to stay, then maybe I will call them my best friend. |

I used to have a best friend back in elementary/middle school, then i moved down to another school, but now we go to the same college...we arent as similar as we used to be but we still chill

I have three incredably awesome best friends who are all completely different.
Lauren, 13 years old, 8th grade. I have known since she was one. She is very outspoken and very intellegent. Taylor, 13 years old, 9th grade. I have known since first grade. She is very funny to those who she knows, and shy to those she doesent, she can keep the deepest secrets. Stephanie, 15 years old, 10th grade. We have known eachother since we were born. (Her mom and my mom are also best friends) We drift off away from eachother sometimes but maybe thats because we both go to different schools. Shes very goofy and also, a good secret keeper and grudge holder lol. (Im 14, and in 9th grade) |

I have 3 best friends. Michael, Dan, & Sam. Mike & Dan are best friends & then there's Sam and I. Mike and I go out - Dan and Sam go out. Dan has been locked up for the last 5 months and Mike went to rehab two months ago. So I have Sam & Dan to talk to - Sami knows what I am going through too. They've all been there for me through everything. They're my best friends.

i'm sort of unsure. like sometimes i feel like she is my best friend since we're so close when we actually DO talk and hang out, but sometimes we dont talk for days so that kind of ... you know, defeats the purpose. but then again, we do go to diff. schools and we are different ages, and she has her own friends. unsure unsure. i've been friends with her since i was about a toddler though.

When I used to live in Indonesia, I had this one girl whom I was very very close friends with from 1st to 3rd grade. I think even earlier than that. We were super close despite our religious differences.
But then I moved away, and I couldn't see her anymore. Nowadays, I have no best friend. I have a lot of friends, but no particular best friend. I just find it hard to trust people with every fiber of my being the way best friends do. |

I cder myself to have a few best friends that have all the qualities of a best friend sorted out between them..... like one of my very closest friends and i have soo much in commen its crazy and another one and we can just be crazy and be ourselves around eachother and i not thinka secod thought about it, and another one i can tell all my problems to so i find that to be great but yea.. we are all a very close friends and do all kinds of crazy shit together

The closest ive had to a true best friend would be my best friend now.. lol ive known her since 2nd grade and shes amazing.. but we go to diff. schools and we went in seperate directions... hers for the older bf and the sex and the drugs.. but i still love her and will always be there for her :)

i think i can say that the best friend i have now and have been best friends with since freshmen year is my true best friend. we have been through some really crappy things and we still mean the world to each other and are always there for each other, i absolutely adore him.

Damn. I feel as though I've been a true best friend. Like in the end, it's not about who's right or wrong anymore; all that matters is who'll be there for you, even when it hurts. Can't say I've ever really had a true best friend throughout school really, just alot of really close friends. However my partner at the moment is the bestest friend I've had and it's no natural it makes every convosation I have with other friends seem forced. Guess I'm not the social type.
