Get tickets ahead of time, get extras. Sell them to people once it sells out. You should probably attempt this at a popular theater.

Anyone else done something like this for a concert/movie?

Haha. I'm probably sure this is illegal some way?

I've snuck into countless movies. Mostly movies that are maybe one - two weeks old. Those guys that take your tickets dont stand infront of the entrances biggrin.gif

Sneak in.

Weird, it had never occured to me before my friend mentioned this to me today.

The Harry Potter 5 session she wants to go on is completly sold out.
So she actually plans to buy a ticket for say, Tranformers, that runs at the same time as Harry Potter 5.

1. She'll accidentally forget to pee before the movie- so during the previews and ads, she'll run out to the toilet.
2. Accidentally forget her cinema number as shes coming back, and accidentally end up in Harry Potter 5!

Gawd, how does that work. Weird thing is... it most probably will work. Even if she has to sit on the ground or something. Quite amazing the measures people will go through to see HP5... but HP is god.

Cant say I've personally bought extra tickets and tried selling them... but I bought tickets for a concert once from someone who had. Cost me more than the original price, naturally. But who really cares? It was the f*#@& Redhotchilipeppers!

I'm too poor to even buy a ticket for myself. _unsure.gif

They never check ticket stubs here. XD.gif All you need is a ticket to get through the door and yay! Too bad I never have time to do that..

In Belgium, you can't sneak in unless you have a ticket for another movie. There's the payment section then the movie section. You pass through the former first. Aaahh, I wish it was like America.

SELL THE TICKETS ON EBAY!!

1. scalping is illegal in most municipalities.

2. Sneaking in for a movie premeire usually isn't a good idea. It'll be packed, and you'll be spotted right away. The managers are going to be stressed out and they're going to get pissed at you.

I know some people who work at the movie theater. So, just get a later ticket. waiting 12 hours to see a movie won't kill you.

Not really my thing. If I absolutely have to go, I Fandango. The only time I've ever sold a ticket was when my son was too scared to go into the movie theater (which happens sometimes).

i once needed extra cash, so i went door to door to sell coupon booklets that i had taken from my neighbor (she was givin them away. so i was not steaing) and sold them.

and then i kept the money.
