Round Two Commences!


Congratulations to LANA(LANOCHKA) with this that won The First Round of LMDS! To add a little twist to the competition Lana can not be eliminated in the next round!

Unfortunately, one person had to be eliminated. After the vote was cast it was determined that Nikki09815 (Nicole) didn't meet this round's cut. sad.gif

The second theme is.... Fantasy! (in honor of some events occuring in the future.). You can choose any of the movies or books to design from, you can also just use your imagination. Be creative. Thats something we found in some and it would be great to continue to see it. For this round, you can still choose between designing a DIV Overlay or a Stand Table layout. Keep in mind that as the contest progresses, the judges might decide to eliminate this choice in future rounds. So, choose wisely.

PM your submission to ALL of the judges, not just one - that way in case one judge is missing, we still have all of the entries at the deadline.

RULES:
1) No use copyright images
2) It cannot be a layout made in the past or submitted anywhere else
3) Must be appropriate content and fit the theme
4) No generators
5) After each round, remaining layouts must be submitted to cB
6) Submissions cannot be just an image, they have to be coded as well

Gosh, I wasn't expecting to win the first round at all.
Thank you so much. It means a lot to me. =]


I can't wait to see these fantasy layout either. At the moment, I'm fresh out of ideas. Hopefully I'll come up with something by the deadline. ^_^

I have a question. What is the most used browser out of the judges?

I was using firefox&greasemonkey (and since I only started the day of), forgot to adjust for ads.


also who was the runner up? I'm thinking anime-essence?

I would think firefox. I know I use Safari not sure what kiera uses. We don't count Runner ups because I think each judge might of had a different amount.

I primarily use Firefox. When looking at layouts I use that, Safari and Opera to check for alignment issues.

And then I check alignment and coding issues in Internet Explorer, Safari, and Opera.

What does that mean to you? What's currently happening in your imagination? Incorporate your dreams into a layout. Fantasy = your imagination.

It doesn't actually need to be imaginative things. Think of Books, TV shows, movies that express a fantaasy type thing.

You guys can't expect us to explain our version of fantasy to you because then there is no creativity. We want to see your creative side. When we say "fantasy" what is the first thing that comes to your mind? (rhetorical question)

Whatever your imagination sets you too. Fantasy be creative. Break away from cliche ideas and use what you want.

You guys did a great job! I'm really impressed by all of your submissions. I hope you forgive my lack of critique on the last round because I'm still out on vacation (and I won't be back until wednesday... but that's late at night).
