Ever had a time where you asked someone for advice and they told you something but you thought little of it, then one day, someone tells you the same thing and you end up realizing they're right, then the person who told you that first ends up saying, "Dude! That's what I said! You listen to it when she says it but not me?"

I guess it just takes you a certain person to realize. Who knew that the speaker could affect what is spoken.

Ever happen to you? Or were you the one who told the person first?

Its happened to me before I guess, but I can't remember any instances but yes, sometimes the person it comes from can make a difference.

Yup and vice versa, I'll tell the person something, they don't listen, they go to someone else, they asy the same exact thing, and I'm like, wtf i said that first.

I'm usually the one who tells people what will probably happen to them, and when it does they act all shocked... I'm left sitting there saying "Did you not listen to me?"

It's annoying, but I suppose I've done the same thing.

and they ignore me & when an adult tells them the same thing, they take the advice.
