I have Photoshop CS2, but I've never even touched brushes before. They seem to be a key thing to use so I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I pretty much want step by step help. I'm not very keen on tutorials. Write me back or IM me on AIM: krynlauren
Thanks!

In what kind of aspect would you like help in?
Do you want to acheive a certain look with the brushes?
Do you want to download new brushes?

Er, there isn't anything to "help you out with." It's simply like you have a stamp with an amazingly cool design and you wanna spice up a picture. Hm, so you take the stamp and stamp it. It's basically that, except like an upgraded stamp and on the computer<3 Haha. If you use brushes, you can edit the size of it [since some are huge] and do other things with it to make it look not so obviously a brush. You can go further in to more tricks, but to keep it simple, it's simply like an upgraded stamp.

ok, then what I think you should do is go to the big book of brushes(one level above this) and find a brush that you like. Then go to their website and click download - save. It's usually a .zip so you have to extract the file.(right click --> extract) And place the file (since my comp is a ibm)

IBM_PRELOAD(C:) --> program files --> adobe --> adobe photoshop cs2 --> presets --> brushes --> adobe photoshop only.

( I may be a little off so check out other sorces)
then close photshop and reopen and the brushes should be in your brushes drop down menu. laugh.gif

it took me about 5 hours to figure that all out! and then you just click on the brush name and open a blank document and start stampin!
