semi-transparent backgrounds, is this possible? |

I'm working on my blog site, and I have a really great cork board graphic (thank you <a href="http://www.stuntkid.com">stuntkid</a>) that I'm using, but I don't want to have a solid white background in my blog table.
I'd like it to be semi-transparent so you can see the cork board beind it. Any suggestions? |

In your CSS for your tables using:
QUOTE background-color:000000;filter:alpha(opacity=70); -moz-opacity:0.70; opacity:0.70; -khtml-opacity:0.70; should work.Moving this because it's not really Myspace related. |

ok, thanks! so that worked in making the table transparent... how about keeping the text full weight?

Do you that the font got lighter b/c the background is lighter? |

instead of adding the code to change the opacity,
i change the transparency of the background in photoshop but thats cus my computer sucks. maybe you could try that

you can try putting your text on a diff div layer so you can customize the settings for that as well.
