It looks good I think there is too much feathering in the middle or background (black).

Gosh, he is cute.
 Anyway, there is too much feathering in a few areas, especially right above the bottom right picture.And the lines on the top left picture look a little odd, its also somewhat plain. Maybe try adding a texture? But it's definitely one of your bests, I can see that you are improving a lot.

Looking awesome. Have you tried using some brushes? That may just give it that 'edge' - or a texture as alovesopure suggested.
