I'm going on a cruise for 7 days over the Christmas break (which includes New Years Eve, yay!) and I'm not really sure what to pack... as I'm limitted to one suitcase and I ALWAYS pack more than I actually wear. There are fancy restaurants and night clubs and I plan on staying up pretty much all night, every night.

For cruises, make sure you bring at least one or two formal outfits because there are formal nights, and some semi-formal ones for all the dinners and going out. Like a few different nice dress shirts or something and then to conserve space, see if they can all match with the same pair of pants or just bring 2 pairs of nice pants.
Casual wear, just bring a few tees and shorts and whatnot, but yeah try not to pack too much as you might shop... That advice wasn't that great sorry, haha I tried.. |

Bring the things that you actually need for the cruise. Say if theres a pool (which is most likely they are), bring you're bathing suit (saying if you want to swim), etc.
Since you said there are clubs, bring clothes that you can move and be comfortable when ur on the dance floor and such (since you're going to dance). Just bring clothes that you are going to do on the cruise and you're comfortable with it. Just curious, why are you packing early? Christmas Break/New Years Eve isn't here until another 6 months or so. o.O |

Basically what Steph said.
One / two formal wear outfit/s depending on how long your cruise is A few semi-formal outfits A lot of casual-wear / lounge-wear you can just walk around a cruise in Swimsuit! Outdoors wear (if your cruise has days where you leave the cruise) |

I'm more likely to get summer clothing now than in the fall. ![]() Thanks for the ideas! |

^ lol, don't over-pack. It's not worth it. It's fun to stay in your PJ's all day until dinnertime and rely on the "free" room service. :D

since it will most likely be cold on the deck, bring a couple jackets.
bring two swim suits, because the first one might not be dry, or might smell intensely like chlorine after the first time you swim. Bring jeans, as well as shorts...but depending on the whether you might want more of one than the other. sunglasses, tote bags and shoes that are "walking friendly" are always good :) BTW go with friends...b/c going on a cruise with no one your age is NOT worth all the money :[ |

Thanks! :) I'm going on an Eastern Caribbean cruise, so I won't be needing any windbreakers.. it's going to be balmy and beautiful! But I want to be able to look chic, because it is a cruise and I'm pretty sure we'll be expected to look put together. I absolutely hate walking around in PJs or sweats (unless I'm jogging or going to a work out room/yoga, etc.) It's my biggest pet peeve... you never know who you're going to meet. What about dresses/club attire? How many would be a suitable amount to bring? I hate wearing one thing more than once in a week, which makes it more difficult. I may have to deal with it, haha. |

Bring at least one formal dress. Most cruises have a formal night. And bring a bunch of cute semi-formal dresses. Like short black ones or something.
