My friends and I use omg as "oh em gee" to act it up and imitate the bubbly airhead girls from my school. Other than that, we're pretty acronym free.

The only abbreviation I guess I even use when actually speaking to someone is "A.S.A.P.", or something like that. I don't use internet speak when I talk.

When I'm talking? Like speaking? Only to make a point or a joke. Like if I'm making fun of someone I'll say LOL before and after I say it. Sarcasm is great. Or I'll say, "I loled" to make someone laugh.

I know that my friend says, "B" when she's talking about boyfriends. "So how's your B?" But I say, "How's your bubbah?"

So naw.

When speaking? Nah. Though I have used "el oh el" once for dramatic effect... actually, I think it was sarcasm. Anyway, chat speak should be left for use on the internet.

I say 'lol' a lot out loud at school to be an idiot around friends.

Our whole family around here are internet obsessee's and familiar with terms.. so occasionally, we'd talk that way. Walking down the hallways, in the kitchen. Yes, using lol, rofl, stfu, noob, gtfo, sif... they're endless.

But to actually talk like that? Nah, just to be an idiot? Yuss.

lawl is just the verbal rendition of LOL. like if you pronounced LOL it would be LAWL! and if you pronounced ROFL it would be...ROFFLE! ingenious eh? its not like gamers have anything other to do than to come up with REAL LIFE 1337 speak.
