I spent 65564512145 hours looking for the perfect graduation dress, only to find out that someone else has the same exact one. stubborn.gif

Have you ever gone somewhere (graduation, prom, wedding, etc.) and found that someone was wearing the same dress/outfit as you? Did anyone notice? What was your reaction?

My all time favorite dress was my dress for my 8th grade dance, haha... so it didn't really matter back then but some girl had the same dress as me. Mine was teal colored though and hers was pink. Neither of us really made a big deal about it. Or at least I didn't... I'm not sure she even noticed.

It never happened to me but it has happened to many of my friends. They were pissed. People noticed but I'd suggest to you what they did and thats just go on having fun and don't worry about the dress. One of my friends new the girl with the same dress so they took pictures and called themselves "twins" and just continued having a great time.

Don't let something simple like this ruin your fun.

I guess I've been fortunate enough to never have that happen to me.

The only time where someone had the same outfit as me was when I was in third grade and my two best friends and I all had the same sweater and pair of jeans (you knew they were the same exact ones 'cause of the designs on the back pockets). happy.gif Ahh, good times.

During one of our 9th grade formals, yeah... I realized a girl had been wearing the exact same dress that I was wearing except in a different color. We both kind of laughed it off, though, but talk about awwwkward. pinch.gif

Nope. Never. I try to get unique dresses...that, and my grad dress was custom made. That helps.

Like in 5th grade, at our school Christmas Program this girl and I had the same shirt. It was a little akward because we had just started becoming friends again after a falling out..but I didn't really get upset about it,

I had that happen to me last year at a Homecoming dance. My boyfriend and I had just walked in the door and were getting ready to go in where the dance was when I realized I forgot my ticket. My boyfriend drove me back to my house to get it and a girl we both know tagged along with us. As we were walking back into the place the dance was at, the girl who was with us said in a rather loud voice, "(My name)! The girl in front of us is wearing the same dress as you, but you look MUCH BETTER in it than she does!" Sure enough, the girl heard her! She turned around, scanned my dress, gave me a dirty look, and yelled, "OH GOD!" while hurrying into the building as fast as her heels could carry her. Usually I would be pissed in a situation like that, but I didn't care at all and just laughed about it because our dresses weren't exactly the same. You see, I took the bow on the front of it off because I didn't like the way it looked. That girl still had the bow on her dress. laugh.gif

In 5th grade my best friend and I came to school with the same dress on for school pictures. It was pretty funny.

That hasn't happened to me (i haven't been to any dances except one...)

It's technically a ridiculous thing to get mad over, but usually dances are special nights, and you want to feel unique. So when someone has the same dress, you feel kind of... infringed upon?

My freshman homecoming, my friend had the exact same dress as me in a different shade.

I really didn't care.

If someone has the same dress as me for prom...
