Do any of you have a borders book store near your city or in your city?
Unfortunately, we don't have one. We don't even have Barnes & Noble. The closest thing to a book store is our local college book store.

The city I live in is gay, we don't any bookstores.

The closest Borders is in Farmington, which is about 45 minutes away. But there's a B&N only 20 minutes away.

I prefer Borders because of the buy 2 books get 1 free deal. :)

There isn't one around here, at least none that I've seen.

There was one I used to go to almost daily when I lived in Orange County (CA). I miss it. =(

Haha yeah, I get emails from them every once in a while about sales, but I don't really feel like driving down there to get books when it's cheaper at the Books-A-Million since my mom has a discount card there. I like to buy manga there. ^__^ And that's probably the only thing I'd buy at Borders, as well. So it's not really worth driving 35 minutes for. But they have a bunch of other stuff too...including a little coffee thing. But Starbucks is better. And there's also a Starbucks next to that Borders, so WHOO! I haven't gone there in a while either...but anyways, the Borders we have is 2 floors. It's not THAT big, but it's the biggest bookstore around here. I like the whole atmosphere of it. It's really relaxing and smells of coffee.

=X
Okay, I'm shutting up now.
I'm bored, which = tired, so bear with me...

Theres a Borders like 5 minutes from my house. <33 My uncle is a manager there and he always gives me coupons or discounts. One time he had my mom tell the cashieer that she was a teacher (even though she isn't) so she could get this special teacher discount.

I always get coffee there. So good.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Borders.
They actually recently built a new one about 10 minutes away from my new house and my friends and i go there ALL THE TIME! seriously. like, the one here has such cool designs around it and it's so big with a cafe, coffee shop and stuff like that. Three giant rows of magazines(local & international). omg, it's so cool.

...and i love their chairs. blush.gif

The feel of Barnes and Noble is slightly different than the feel of Borders, but maybe that's just me. I'm prone to Barnes and Noble, as that is where I practically lived during high school as there's one only two minutes away from my house. I like my BN better than any other, though; the cafe is by far the best.
