the sims 2, problem

i didnt know where esle to put this.

Im just trying to install to Sims to my computer (its a proper disk brough from the shop)

And an error came up saying

"A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'TSData\Res\Sound\Voice1.package' from the media.
Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel intallation?"

Yes i did rerty but it didnt work? what do i do.

this goes in techonology btw. maybe the file you have is corrupted, could be this disc also. try to restart and install again, amke sure you have the proper cd key, and have the right discs there should be 4, or the DVD version.

yep there is 4 disc. I only just put in the 1st one it got up to 5% and then said that, the disc is fine my friend has used it on her computer it worked.

Its my friends but she did buy it. from a store.

Was it new when you got it? It sounds like a really weird bug. You should return it, and get a new set.
