Do you ever get involved in book discussions like with a few people from school or your neighborhood or community?

Ha the only books I've had discussions about besides the ones for my English and Spanish class, is Harry Potter. My cousins and I read them and after we're done with the book we discuss it to see what we miss or what we think

Last year in English we have book discussions, but this year, it's more of analyzing all that yourself and be able to write it out in the in-class essay or oral commentary. But that isn't really an interactive discussion because no one else (besides the teacher) reads my essays and the class basically just sit there and listen to my oral commentary (which I bet they don't pay attention).

^I was thinking of starting one for HP7, but I noticed that someone has already published a topic on it.

None of my friends read, so no. It sucks because I'm quite the bookworm... I did have a few decent discussions in last semester's English Lit class though.

Starting a discussion here would be cool...Like pick a different book every week or so, so people who want to participate can have time to read it.

The only times I've had real in-depth book discussions were during this past school year in AP English. I really enjoyed them all because the teacher made it interesting, like making real-world connections, symbols, etc.

Other than that, there aren't really any book discussions that I know of around here.

whenever my friends and i read the same book, we always have discussions.

there`s also a book club at my school, so when people actually read the book that`s assigned, we discuss it.
