need heLp w/ page, when i insert pictures into my about me, it just shows two dots...why? Options

im pretty familiar with HTML and usually can figure this out on my own
but recently i changed my page so that its pretty blank...only showing
the default pic, about me, friends and comments in one column. so now
i'm trying to add pictures into the about me area but everytime i enter
in the code, the picture doesn't show up on the page and it just shows
this: ..


ive tried adjusting the size of the picture and everything but it still only shows as two little periods..


HELP!! lol

what bout the picture code? can you show me the code?

When you put in your picture code is it:
<img src="http://URL">

[SortedDetails]

You know, sometimes when you add a picture and incorrectly type the url, it becomes ".." when it can't find the image.
