I always thought in my head that Voldemort must look real messed up while reading the books.
The movies made this a reality.

Book 5 was the book that I stopped reading Harry Potter at. I need to go back and read these.

The Harry Potter story just keeps going... and going...

I actually only seen the first one. It came out when I was in like 6th grade and we were the first people in Wisconsin to see it, because our teachers took the whole grade to the theatre. I remember when we were on the news and stuff.

I think I should read the fifth one before I see the movie, but I don't have the time.

But I liked the third one! The special effects were cool.

I think this movie's special effects are gonna be even more awesome.
But I pretty much forgot what book 5 was about (except for the important stuff, of course) so I'm gonna have to reread it. pinch.gif

I love Neville but I don't like his look for this movie. pinch.gif Guess if he's growing and becoming more spontaneous, he'll have to look different.

The third movie had its faults but I enjoyed. Better than the first two.

But I cannot WAIT for this movie. So many new characters. I hope Luna and Umbridge live up to expectation. I don't understand the release date, though. I mean, wouldn't it make more sense to release it on my birthday? I guess that scheduling conflictions got in the way *sigh*

But...no more Quidditch? sad.gif

And as for the seventh book... GO JKR. WRITE YOUR HEART OUT. MAKE IT A MAY 3RD RELEASE. YOU CAN DO IT! *is asking for way too much*

My opinions:

- I thought that Luna Lovegood would look...geekier I guess. I always imagined her with glasses at least.
- The uniforms look better. Unless it was the same in the last movie. Haha.
- The Weasley twins got a haircut and it bugged me. Looked awkward.
- Harry's haircut isn't that bad as the twins' but it looks...weird too.

I'll post a picture of the Weasley twins' haircut when I find it.

It looks really good.

Daniel radcliffe seems to have gotten better at acting, but his hair bugs me. I thought luna lovegood would be... thinner and more odd looking. umbridge is supposed to be blonde and super fat pinch.gif

eh i hate his new haircut also. same here, Luna & Umbridge are such key characters that i hope they didn't get messed up. I actually imagined Luna with black hair (dunno why) & much nerdier not so pretty. ha but i guess we'll have to wait and see. This was actually one of my favorite books, so much details. I'm just afraid that they are gunna cut a lot, because this book has so many details & stuff it should be a 3/4 hr movie. Even though something sad happens, i think it plays a key part in the rest of the books.

It wasn't said explicity in the book but I think it's because one of his horcruxes is Nagini, a snake. When Dumbledore went over Voldemort's life with Harry, he said that after leaving Hogwarts for a bit, he was no longer the handsome and shy-looking kid. He was said to have done evil things and he looked very different, probably as a result of his horcruxes.

You know what? I can't find any pictures of Tom Felton(Draco Malfoy) from this movie. Have they not filmed any scenes with him in it? _dry.gif

I honestly can't wait for this move. I loved all of them and I'm the same age as the cast too (well...mainly Daniel, Emma, and Rupert. Tom is exactly 3 years older since we have the same b-day. Yes, I know this because, obviously, I was one of those obsessed fan girls)

I read the first 4 books in a week. That was crazy. I need to reread 5 and 6 though, totally forgot what happens...except for the biggies lol.

i cried in the sixth movie. i actually like how everything is turning dark. and no i am not emo or w.e. i am perfectly normal or perhaps maybe even too happy/smiley. but anyway, thats not the point. i like how every movie gives you more and more chills and is more breathtaking. im kind of not looking forward to the 6th movie though. the book is long therefore soooo many scenes are going to be cutout. remember the first movie? even then they cut out like 5 scenes that i thought were essential to the plot.

if your talking about the books, I tottaly agree. god. this lady is genius. & i alreayd know that I am going to disappointed with the next moovies cuz i know they're gunna cut out hella ESSENTIAL scenes. I honestly wouldn't mind watching a 5hr movie as long as they have every scene.

I wouldn't mind seeing a 5 hour HP movie.... most Bollywood movies are 3 hours minimum.

It's better to read the books. When scenes are cut out for the movies, the plot still has to make sense as a whole and so, certain things are changed... I don't like it when that happens. :(

Luna definitely looks better in the movie than i imagined her in the book.
Gosh, i can't wait..THIS LONG! But how much are they cutting out this time?

I feel kind of bad, I still haven't seen the 4th movie yet. The third one didn't really make me all that interested. So I didn't bother to watch the 4th one. The 5th one looks nifty though. Perhaps I'll watch the 4th and then go see the 5th since I read the books pinch.gif

Im reading these post about people havent even finished the 5th book and im like ohmy.gif You have to read the end.I reread it because of the end.I LOVED it.The thought of the kids going almost rebel and the fact that most of the main characters did it(im trying not to spoil anything) i was like "YEAH GO YOU"

And what happened to Luna not having any eyebrows.That what made her stick out in my mind.Oh and another thing at the end, I was extremly sad at how Luna is treated and such.


And of course the big thing that happened at the end.


I hope I prompted you into finishing it. You should be ashamed.

Hmm, I don't think it sucked, butof all the books, the 5th is my least favorite. That isn't to say that it was a bad book, not at all; I'm ridiculously in love with every single HP book, but I just felt like the 5th one had much too much angst.

i think they're making to big of a deal on the kiss. i haven't read the book but i heard that it's just a kiss and nothing really comes out of it after that or something, but does it really have to be in the trailer? lol.

except my only regret is making the siggy with harry instead of a uber 3some with malfoy and the weasly twins.
