I have a headache now, so I thought I'd make a topic about it. pinch.gif

Why do you usually get a headache for, and what type of medicine works best for you to get rid of the headache?? Mine is probably from being on the computer too long, or thinking too hard. I take Advil, though, and it helps a LOT. thumbsup.gif

When hungover, usually (which is never because I don't drink). But um, I don't really get headaches.. when I do, I usually pop and Advil and I'm good to go.

I use Tylenol. I'm not sure if works or not, pinch.gif but it probably does because then I forget about my headache.

I get headaches every once in a while. They're not really rare for me. I get them occasionally, but they're mild so it's not too bad.

I get them because of stress or the heat. Other than that, I'm not exactly sure why I get them. shrug.gif

I rarely get headaches, but when I do it's because I'm extremely stressed or tired.

I usually get them from nasty over-powering smells.

Like Yankee Candle. Or incense.

I don't usually take anything... they just go away after a while.

I've only had one headache in my life, and it was because I was sick.

I used to get migraines often, and I was put on medication for when I got them (basically really powerful Tylenol) but then the doctor tried giving me medication that I would take daily to prevent them and it worked, but gave me horrible stomach pains. I still get them about 5 days a week and take lots of Tylenol.

It's a part of my PMS...it sucks. Or if I've had a really, long, stressful day + staring at the computer too long, haha. I usually just take some extra-strength tylenol.

I get headaches all the frickin' time!!

For the past few months, I've been getting at least two really bad headaches per week.
But lately, it's been getting a lot worse, the point where it's hard to think about anything else or sometimes even walk. ermm.gif My mom is going to get me a doctor's appointment for it, but she thinks that I have like, severe tension-type headaches, or something. Blech.

And I take aspirins for it and such, but the relief never lasts that long and it always comes back anyway. :/

I don't get headaches often at all.

Usually, when I do get them, though, it's because I'm extremely stressed out, combined with some really annoying noise in the background. I take a Panadol, drink some tea, chill out, and it usually goes away.

I always get migranes. I'm like a walking migrane, it sucks. I usually just take some Excedrin, which I carry around with me, and drink lots of water. If i'm not at work or school, then I try and sleep it off.

I used to get headaches everyday. I would taken anything I could and I still could not get it to go away. They kept diagnosing me with either Migraines or Cluster Headaches. But its neither. When I get these headaches I get dizzy and I am not functional. Sometimes I pass out due to the intensity of the headache.
[[I do know what is wrong. There is just nothing that I can get done right now to fix my problem. sad.gif ]] My insurance is stupid so I have to wait until I get approved for my new insurance to even begin to do something about my problem.

I have constant head aches. So basically, I get migraines. Anyhow, I don't take medicine. Since I've taken so much medicine, nothing takes effect on me anymore.

It's usually because of stress. For the past few days, I've gotten a headache after each of my politics seminars, because I've been so frickin' worried over them. The one from today is still lasting. I've noticed certain patterns, yes.. But painkillers and coffee/smoking always helps.

I always get headaches usually three times a week. Either from eye strain or being on the computer too much.

I get them all the time. Usually when I'm stuck in equations from my geometry homework.
