I'm a little confused on what I should do to the image. This is going to be a layout but I think that it is missing something.....

Maybe you could center it, and turn it in to a one columned layout, and make the rest of the background behind the image black.

sounds good. should I feather the edges ( from picture to black backround)?

Yes, you really should feather the edges, or it will look funny. Especially the top part of the image.

i agree make it a one columned layout and maybe add some brushes... but not too many. I'm sure it will look great when it's done
