Wisdom and knowledge are not the same thing, so what constitutes wisdom and how do you obtain it?
I find that wisdom is what you learn through experience and failure, through observing your surroundings and then applying those observations to life. |

I agree that you can obtain wisdom from life experience. Actually it's the only real way to obtain it. Wisdom is also subjective which gives it a certain flair and blend.
One phrase comes to mind: Live and learn. |

Can you take wisdom away? ... knowing there's something wrong, but you're repeating it again.

Hm. To me, wisdom is about your intelligence of life - knowing what to do, knowing destinations in life. Knowledge is something that you automatically drill into your brain, perhaps something you learn from school.
Wisdom is achieved by experiencing life itself - suffer through the obstacles and move on. Live through the ups and downs. |

I agree with what's been said.
I believe wisdom is something that is only learned through experiences in life, whatever they may be, either failures, successes, etc. |

I agree with what's been previously said. My beliefs about wisdom are most definitely experiences in life whether you succeed, or fail, and learning from your mistakes.
