there HAS to be someone else that knits on here! i was watching knitty gritty on the DIY network and completely learned slip-stitch knitting in 15 minutes!

i've only used garter stitch before, but this makes me feel so awesome!

what do you make? have pics, feel free to show.

I used to stitch when I was younger, but never got into knitting. I have a teach who actually knits alot; she makes scarves and socks and such for some of her students.

Aww, it's a shame that this topic died. sad.gif *wills it to live*

I've recently picked knitting back up after a couple of years, actually, and I'm finding out why I liked it so much to begin with. It's really relaxing and I can still feel like I'm doing something rather than just sitting idle and watching TV. I know there are other people on CB who knit now. =]

I used to knit a few years ago, but I lost my knitting needles!

You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

I can only knit straight... I guess horizontal. All my scarves have turned out pretty lumpy rolleyes.gif

I can crochet, kinda. I've tried to learn to knit -- a friend taught me, but she got frustrated when I couldn't get it. I would like to learn how to do it though.
