How often do you skip school/class?

In high school, I'd skip class at least once a week minimum.. That number gradually went up as senior year came about and progressed.

Now, I skip maybe two to four class meetings a week (which is significant, since I'm only taking four classes).

LFO!

eh i don't really skip classes because i hate copying other people's notes. and my classes have those dumb little electronic things you click in for quiz points so we have to be there anyways.

>_>

ANNUH....! Now I must download LFO songs, which will lead me to listening to BSB songs...

Since I'm on the quarter system we can only have two absences per class. After the second we automatically flunk out. So yeah, I hardly ever miss classes.

at my school you are only allowed to have 8 absences, and if you have more you get kicked out. but it counts for each class.
sooo i skip like...not often but sometimes.
but at my school it is so easy to skip, sooo its a bit of a tempation.

^You're crazy. Wait til you get to college, so much easier to skip classes and still pass.

In high school, I skipped a few times. College, wow I feel like I barely went to class last semester and still pulled off good grades. I honestly rarely went to my Math and Society class, I probably went 2/3 times each week if not 1/3 and still got a B.

I skip my chem class and my history classes at least once every other week because we don't learn anything and it's boring.

but if caught can get expelled since I have a strict school.

I found classes in college that teach straight from the book and don't take attendance I ended up going on test days and review days. Other classes had strict absence policies where if you had 6 absences after 8 or so weeks, then you were dropped from the class no questions asked.

I couldn't skip class. All that work that I need to make up would kill me if I miss a day.

id skip class if i had to study for another classes test that same day. the only time i ever skipped class was because my friend was performing in the talent show and it was her last time cause she was moving away... and i know her through her great vocals which inspire me and they move me to tears.
i'll probably skip senior year...but thats the most important year.

I never really skipped until senior year, and I rarely skipped then because my school is pretty strict about it. In first year, I skipped more than that, maybe once a week or less...which isn't very much, I know but it was for me. rolleyes.gif

I don't skip often because I hate being behind. I alwayss need to be ahead, haha.

But as of this year, I've skipped a couple periods. No completee days... Skipped a quiz in Spanish and an exam in Humanities. In Humanities the teachers knew I skipped too because I popped up after class, but I didn't get ownt because they knew I wouldn't skip that class unless there was seriously something dead wrong. I love that class and that class loves me.

And just variouss... ditched school a couple times to get stolen by the juniors and seniors at the senior high :) funsauce.

I've never skipped an entire class. Teachers here are like the freaking FBI, they somehow nearly ALWAYS find out, and then you're mired to the detention room serving hours.

Ah... and I guess I'm what you'd call a "goody-goody", too. pinch.gif I have skipped partial classes like... two or three times, though, to finnish up projects or study for a test the next period.

I rarely skip classes. At my school, two latenesses count as one absence or unexcused cut, which affects our grades. One absence/cut lowers our final grade by one point. I've only cut class twice when I felt sick and went home.

I skipped a lot during sophmore year. I was a really bad sophmore slump, haha. The school I went to at the time really depressed me and I never liked to go, so I skipped at least every 2 weeks.

I used to skip ALL THE TIME. This year I started going to class and have made honor roll (high honor roll once). Some of it was just the crowd of people I was hanging out with and the fact that I'm in Special Ed, so I was always embaressed to go to class and figured I wasn't going anywhere anyways. Now I kind of regret it, because I have to play catchup. I've skipped school probably only 2 days this whole year. My worst record was 40 somedays of skipping (class periods added up and full days).

PS, this topic is kind of like this one.

I never skipped school in high school. Never. I skipped a couple of periods though, went to some fast food places with my friends, get some real lunch instead of the school food.

I don't really skip college classes just to skip. If I'm sick, I won't go to class. If I need to finish a paper or something, I'll skip a class to get it done.
