i'm not sure where this should be placed, so feel free to move it.

i'm planning on getting a monroe piercing. however, i have braces. my mom said that i could have my piercing if it wasn't going to screw up my braces or anything. but i'm not sure if it will or not. does anyone know?

A monroe piercing would be sweet.
My friend has one of 'em.
As for if it'd do anything to your bracers...
*shrug. I dont beleive she's ever had them before.
Or will need them, but I mean... if your careful I dont see how it would interfere with bracers or anything anyway. happy.gif

I doubt it. I would ask the piercer and/or your dentist to check for sure though.

Very unlikely. My sister had a Monroe piericing, and she had to take it out, because it was infected. But, that's because it kept getting hit with shit. That's a different story.

Anyways, like I said, it's very unlikely that your braces will effect the piercing. The back of the stud itself is flat, and it should be up high enough, not to touch your braces. =]

The monroe would rest on your gums inside your mouth... so I don't think that should interfere with your braces.

I miss my monroe sad.gif haha

I'm not sure if it would affect your braces, but as for an opinion on a Monroe piercing DON'T DO IT!every time I see a girl with one it just looks like they have a huge black head popping from there face unless your like 2feet away or closer, even then I don't find it attractive and I know a lot of men who feel the same.
