Methadone if you can get your hands on it, it's used for treating recovering heroin addicts, extremely powerful but also extremely illegal without a prescription...just don't overdose I made that mistake not to long ago.

:edit:

25mg is enough to kill a full grown person. I suggest taking 12mg at the most.

Ohh. >_< I used to have braces. Not fun.
Medication didn't really help my pain.
Just make sure you don't bump your teeth into anything. >_<;
You could try Tylenol, Motrin, or Ibuprofen. I remember taking Ibuprofen.
Oh, and I drank lots of hot tea. happy.gif It helped me a little.

I had braces twice. Once just the top and then the second time it was both top and bottom. with spacers and rubberbands.
it was harsh. the way my mouth stopped hurting is by first of all not talking. try not to move your mouth that much. only eat soft foods like yogurt and such to begin with. take ibuprofen and give it time.

ohmy.gif Me too! I still have them, though. And I'm still using rubberbands. pinch.gif Hmm, well I took Tylenol, but that didn't exactly ..get rid of all the pain. I think you just have to get used to it.

i first got my braces almost two years now. i still have them on.

i think it's mostly the spacers that hurt. suck it up because the pain will go away in about a week. if you need medicine now think about each month you need to get them tightened

but i'm assuming any pain killers should work
