is there a way i can change the default text color (black) on my myspace to something else? (like a pink or orange)

You want to just change the main font?
You can use this code:
CODE
<style type="text/css">.text {color:######;}  </style>

Just change the ###### to the hex code color that you want.

thanks! but that only changes the left side of the page. is there one where i can change the WHOLE thing??

The left side?! It should change the main font.

You have a code that already has the ".text", It looks like this:
CODE
.text {font-family:small fonts; font-size: 9px; color: 000000; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; letter-spacing: 0px; text-transform: lowercase; padding: 0px; line-height: 10px;}

Find it, and change the 000000.
