hmmm I was wondering if there was a way to take a song already DLed on my harddrive, and somehow convert it and have it saved on another site er something and somehow use that url so I can use that song for my xanga... wow that was long!

erm... yea. you can download a mp3 converter. i think it changes it to asf or wma. just search for it on downloads.com. or, just upload ur song to ourworld.cs.com

convert it? You probably dont want to convert your mp3s to any other format because mp3s are usually the smallest and have teh best quality. As far as putting it on a server so you can link to it directly from the internet, you need a host. I use my college account, i dont know about other people. Alot of peopel that have broadband are given account on their ISP's servers. You should look into that if you have cable. Or if you have a constant connection of some sort you can set up your own fileserver on your computer. But that takes quite a bit of work.
