Hey folks. I'm doing a project for my calculus class, and it would be a great help if you could post your SAT score, and the amount of hours you spent studying for it.

please don't be ashamed of posting your score or anything. tongue.gif
and please keep discussion to a minimum please?

I will tell you guys the results of this project when I am done with the graph and stuff.
It will be spectacular. laugh.gif

Hm. I took it a while ago, so I can only estimate the time "studying" for it... I took a 3-hr class every week for about 6 weeks, so about 18 hrs studying.

Math - 760
Reading - 750
Writing - 700

Hope that helps.

Wow. You did so freakin well on your SATs! 3-hour class every week for about 6 weeks? That's totally amazing. thumbsup.gif

I am going to have SAT prep classes in the summer...Mondays through Fridays for 8 weeks...which each lesson is about 5 hours long?

I doubt if my score would ever reach 2000. pinch.gif

2000 on a diagnostic SAT, if it counts.
maybe 30ish hours of slow studying.

1600 on the first SAT
And I only studied for about 2-3 hours.

1400 on the second SAT
And I studied for 20+ hours.

Maybe all that studying made me really tired or I just really didn't care I don't know I just know that studying for the SAT didn't really help for me..

I mean it's great that y'all got a 1400 or a 1600, but those scores are viable on both versions. Which one are y'all talking about?

It's really not that bad. Just know that the essay is more about quantity than quality. Math is like algebra level and is VERY easy. Writing is common sense. Should do good if you're not a complete idiot :D

I haven't taken the SAT yet, I've just taken the PSAT...
but I got the equivalent of 2050 and since it was just a PSAT and didn't mean anything, I didn't study... and I prolly won't study for the real thing either.

Hey, you might get into the National Merit Scholarship Contest with a score like that. I got the equivalent of a 2120 and ended up as a Finalist... and it's possible you could be commended or a Semi-finalist! Colleges will hand over serious money for that!

low 1400's. i didnt study for it and it was a fake SAT for school.

i didnt do 3 sections, so i bubbled in random answers. thats probably why my score was so low.
