Do you type like you speak?

(Okay, that made no sense. As in like, the stuff you type, is that the kind of thing you'd say out loud?)

Yes, sometimes I mispronounce things on purpose in real life, and when I try to type them like I'd say them people don't take it the correct way. I'm random in IMs, like in person.

Yeah, I think I'm the same both ways.
I find it weird when people talk a lot online but hardly talk in real life. Or vice versa.

I kind of do, yeah.. Like, when I'm typing, I can hear myself saying it and I try to punctuate it accordingly. XD

Yes, I guess.

it really annoys me when people type like that! i always wonder how long it must take them to complete a sentence with all the numbers and randomised caps, it definitely takes more effort that typing normally! but i guess most people do grow out of it happy.gif

i used to type like "u no" and "wot u up 2" but after a while i realised it's just easier for me to just type it normally and people can understand you a lot better, although i still do it for a few words like "u" but aaaanyway

I write more 'properly' than I speak, if that makes sense.

Yeah, generally. It's just things like "FORSRSLY" that I wouldn't use in conversation, at least not that often.
But it's also a bit clearer because I can go back and edit stuff, plus think about what I want to say before I talk.

I so love that word.

I can hear myself talking the words I type. Sometimes it feels like the voiceovers you hear in movies or tv shows. Like.. "previously on..."

Therefore... probably not.

But the smiles/face thingys, well just be happy I don't use more than what I already use (which is alot & im sry if that bugs people) cuz i tend to make faces all the damn time. i don't know...someone told me once that i kinda act cartoony? blink.gif

Yes I do, usually.
Like in real life, I can never explain myself well, so I always use "stuff"/thingy/thing/that , and I do the same online. It kind of bothers me- I'm trying to stop. _smile.gif

Well, I say "um, like." all the time IRL, but I wouldn't type that, so I'd pause and think, then type. So I sound more stupid in real life.
