Well, did you talk to the neighbor first? I mean you shouldn't go the police without talking to the neighbor..huh.gif

^^
Okay then if it keeps happening over and over again, after talking to him, you could probably go to the police or something I think...

Yea go to the police. An old friend of mine constantly got the cops called on him for having loud music. So I would suggest going to the police. It at least got him to stop for a bit.

My neighbours used to have these BBQ parties during Friday and Saturday night two summers ago, which would last until around 2 am. At that time I worked with the Emergency Service, and since it was the summer campaign I would be either trying to sleep after a 24 hour shift or else before a 48 hour one.

My solution was to have music apreciation nights on Mondays when I was off work until Wednesday. Ministry does sound beautiful at 4 am, believe me :D. They didn't have anymore late night parties either, or if they did they weren't as rowdy.

Look up the number for the local police department and call them. They'll take care of it.

In my opinion set up rivaling sound system and blare a certain song @ him
A: Numa song
B: Bush state of union address
C: Scatman
Lol. Anyways
Yeah If you've already talked to him I suppose just report it to the cops, but do y'all have a separate cop line that's not emergency related?

Depends what time it is of the day. Like, our city has restrictions. Any noises before like 12 or 1 AM is still considered acceptable. After that you can call the police.

Where I live, we call the cops. This old lady was watching a Nazi movie and it was pretty loud, someone called the cops. Noises are reported after 10 PM.

My neighbours are currently throwing fireworks. THERE IS NOTHING SPECIAL, THEY DO THIS EVERY 2 WEEKS. IT'S 23:02 (11 PM) AND THEY ARE THROWING FIREWORKS. I THINK I'M GOING TO DIEEEEE. THE NOISE IS TOO MUCH. AAGGGEHEHEZKJHEKHBRZEJ.

Same here but they are right next door, so my bedroom is facing them, next to each other, and they blast their guitar/music so loud, we talked to them once, but next time 911 ringring. It shakes my room.

I think some neighbor behind my house has those loud music-blasting parties once in a while. But one time the cops came and stopped them. I even hate it when there are cars passing by with a loud bass. mad.gif

I guess the cops would help solving the problem.

Your town should have a "Non Emergency number" for things like that.Call 911 and thell get pissed off because its not "life threating".

My dad (Cop) also told me that if the music is loud enough to cause major hearing damage/propery damage from the vibrations they can take the sound system away becauses it becomes dangerous.

Is he having a party? Because being a party pooper is thumbdown.gif But if nothing's live over there, just cut all power to his house and you'll have all the R&R you want.
