I don't know the right forum for this, so feel free to move it if you can think of a better place for it.
Okay, I have a really weird smile. When I show my teeth (which is how I ALWAYS smile), my upper lip has like this really weird part that kind of comes down. Instead of it just being straight across on the bottom, it makes like a v right in the middle. I'm very self conscious about it and I've never seen anyone else that has it. So my question.. does anyone else have it? Or does anyone know what I can do about it? I HATE it. Thanks! xD |

Hmm... I'm not entirely sure what you're describing, but I think it's normal. Not all of us have perfectly curved smiles- and it's fine. We're all unique. There's not really anything you can do about it, unless you want to start smiling with your mouth closed?

I kinda have it.. It's not a big deal, really. I don't think there's anything you can do. Besides plastic surgery, that is. Or you can tape it.

Yesss, alot of people have that, I mean not everyone can have a perfect smile. (sorry i couldent find a picture for you but its kinda hard to discribe.) If your feeling uncomfertable about it try talking to a dentist. You could also try making another post like this in the health section maybe.

uhhh.. i have it. but i also have a facial deformity on the right side of my face ( called lymphangioma) that affects my health badly.. ive had about 15 surgerys since birth on my eye and cheek. so yeah.
i have it. and its probably 100 million times worse than your smile. ive been made fun of, but ive moved past that and have realized (finally) that it truely is whats on the inside that counts. so please, get over it. i know its hard. i know it takes courage.... but their ARE way worse things in life. |

Uggghh, I hate my smile, too. But others say my smile is gorgeous. I guess it just depends on self-confidence, but unless a person has a *hideous* smile (I've only seen a few of these people in my LIFE), smiles don't bother me much, and when people smile it makes me want to smile more. Don't pay attention to it. If someone really wants you as their friend, they won't care what your smile looks like. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.

Anyways, my smile is not like that although by the way I'm interpreting what you described, that sounds a lot like my best friends smile. |
