I wouldn't go out of my way to pick up anything of hers, but she has a tremendous voice. Even I can admit that.
As far as the video goes, I think she's trying a little too hard. Part of me thinks she's channeling Ann Wilson from Heart with her vocals, and that's not a bad thing to aspire/be compared to. I kept thinking of "Alone" when I saw/heard this. However, visually it is less than stunning. I would have gone for something subtle to contrast the roughness of the song. |
