You socialized with this person on the internet/online and had never saw this person's face, eyes, mouth, skin, or whatever.
Then you know ... this person will expose picture of them self to you pretty soon. What are your true expectations? What do you expect to see? What do you want? What kind of person are you? Reveal yourself. If you're a girl, imagine that person is a guy. If you're a guy, imagine that person is a girl. |

It's always good to have a face to go along with the person you're talking to. It's not like I'm ever going to really see the person, so it's not a huge deal to me if they look good or not.

I don't expect much out of someone online, just that they're nice to me and that they're decent. Hopefully they're good looking. If not...it's kind of awkward at first, I guess. But that usually changes.

Why would I expect someone to look like something? It's just a person I've talked to online. If he's interesting enough for me to have talked to him at all, I don't care what he looks like.
If he wants to meet up, that's fine too. I'll just probably be surrounded by a small mob so I don't get abducted or anything. |

I had a friend like that, but they did give me a picture. Before, I couldn't really picture him since I've heard his voice like a million times, but hey looks really don't matter to me unless he was like 18+.

I don't have expectations of online people, it's never like that. I treat them the same as I would if I met them in real life. As for looks, well that doesn't determine whether I continue speaking to them or not.

I'd have to agree with Suzzette on this one.
Uhm.. Nothing special. There was this one time that I thought this guy was going to be way cute, he was friends with my best friend, and I talked to him on AIM for a long time. She told me what he looked like, but... idk. The way she said it made me think he was really really cute. So then I met him, and he was just.. normal looking. Not really cute, but not ugly. |
