I like this guy, right? Well at least I think I like him. I don't know whenever I'm not around him it feels like I like him but when I'm around him.. I don't know it feels like I don't like him and I don't even wanna be around him. That's what always happens with me when I like a guy. Oh and also I think he likes me back but now that something might actually happen... i'm just pushing him away and I'm ruining my chance at any relationship with this guy.
Basically, the closer he's getting to me, the farther away I push him. Help? If that makes sense in any way I'd love your input. |

I have a friend who does the same thing.
I don't quite understand why she does it, either. When she actually does get with a guy, she ends up liking someone else (or multiple someone else-s) and dumps him. She hasn't lasted in a relationship for more than a couple weeks at most. I don't know what it's like to be like that... but I'd just say you need to relax and let things happen. I don't know how, but... good luck... I guess.

Are you shy? Or do you just geniunely not like him... are you more just infatuated? Sort out your feelings first... then I think you should tell him how you feel about him, if you do like him. I don't know... I never really feel that way myself, so yeah...  Good luck.

lol ... your post reminds me of last year.
my boyfriend and i are so nice to each other now (well, of course) BUT last year was a whole different story. i had a crush on him last year, but i have this thing about being mean to the people i liked. i called him dipshit (never his real name) and did alot of other mean things. but eventually it got sorted out and we became best friends and now we are a couple. took a good year and a half though . . . what you need to ask yourself is are you pushing him away to hide the fact that you like him... or that deep down you genuinely DON't want to establish a relationship with him on any higher level than "just friends" and remember, even though i know i did itt, it isnt fair to toy aroound with a guys mind... no matter how fun (or in your case, convenient) it may be.. anywho, good luck!

I've done that a lot. I like a guy but the minute I find out he likes me back, I suddenly find him annoying.
I forget what happened, but I said something dumb to him and I sat at home kicking myself for saying something so stupid-sounding. That's what made me realize that I cared about what he thought of me and that I really did like him. Unless you really do just like the chase, remember what you liked about him in the first place. |
