i have a bf, and i am very much in love with him. we were best friends for a year or so before we started going out, and we still have that INCREDIBLY close bond from the friendship ( i can talk to him about anything - even gurly stuff)...
my problem is that though, i love him more than a friend but sometimes i still see him as my closest friend and i have a hard time being more intimate with him ( i dont believe in sex before marriage, so i dont mean that way) i want to be more than anything, but i dont know how to... does anyone have any advice or tips on how to be intimate without pushing me over the edge???... thank you

well, how long have you been dating? it will take a while of dating to really build that closeness and intimacy. if you don't feel comfortable with doing something, or if it seems awkward, you don't have to do anything; just build him up with your words, give him a sincere good morning the first time you see him in a day- little things like that.
if you mean the physical, hold his hand in public, give him an extra hug when your guy-friends are around or when he's having a bad day. you dont really NEED a high level of intimacy if you're just starting that romantic connection; over the years, that grows. if it feels like you're fine where you are, you don't have to push it. |
