Anybody like them?

If you've never heard of them, I'd suggest checking out the "Curse of Curves" clip. I love that song. Their other songs are okay, just... not as good.

I love their lyrics. _smile.gif
My favorite songs from them are the Curse of Curves and Newport Living.
(You are a sell out
But you couldn't even do that right
So your price tag has been slashed
And now you're chillin' on a half priced clearance rack)

The lead singer's voice annoys me to a certain extent if I listen to them excessively, though.

I love this band.
My favorite songs are Risque, Teasing to Please (Left Side, Strong Side), The Fourth Drink Instinct, Curse of Curves, Sweat The Battle Before The Battle Sweats You, and I Put The "Metro" In Metronome.
I don't like Shaant.

I remember like two years ago when I was waiting and waiting for an album, and then it finally came out a year later. I was kind of disappointed with some of the new sounds ("Risque", "Lyrical Lies", "Teasing to Please", etc.) though. I know that the older versions were just demos, but still...
I also REALLY wish that "I Don't Care If It's The Moon" had been included on the album.

Other than that, "I Put The 'Metro' In Metronome", "Newport Living", "Finger Twist and Split", "Moan" and "Sweat the Battle Before the Battle Sweats You" are my favourite songs.

There have been so many lineup changes, though. First Chris left to focus on his other band, and then Fred was gone, soon to be replaced by Jack, who subsequently left only to be replaced by Fred!

Anyway.

Shaant sure likes the word "gents."

One of my favorites of all time.
I was supposed to see them a few weeks ago but my friend didn't buy tickets when they were on pre-order sale.
I pretty much hate "Curse of Curves" now; they play it on the radio too much.
"Sweat Before the Battle Sweats You" > any other song.
And um Shaant's hair is the funnest to immitate.
Love.

Love that song haha.
But um "Hip Hop at IHOP" > "I Don't Care If It's The Moon."
And omg I was SO sad at first when Fred left, like seriously.
And then I was sad when Jack left because he's pretty hot and I wanted to meet him haha.
But I'm happy Fred is back in.
He needs to be permanent.
I'm pretty sure all these little disputes are because of Shaant.

Yeah, I saw them like.. 2-3 years ago. They are pretty good, I talked to one of the guys on AIM before the show, and he got us on their guest list, so it was free. hahaha
Not many people were at the show, though. shrug.gif

Hm. I usually only keep up with the music and not the actual artists - something I need to change. But I heard somewhere that Shaant's a real jerk. What's his deal?

Gonna have to disagree with you there.
"I Don't Care If It's The Moon" > almost every other song.
Haha, at least in my opinion. The piano is just gorgeous. Although I'm sure that most people would disagree and say that "The Curse of Curves" or something is better. Since it's the most popular or whatever.

But I do agree that Shaant may be [a] reason behind people leaving. Apparently, some of the band conflict with him; I even recall a mention in an issue of AP (the one with CIWWAF on the cover.)
