Okay so this is a while back but my friend said that she thought "this guy was hot and he wasnt cute?" So i am guessing from reading in between the lines that hot means that you have a nice body and cute means your good looking.
SO what do you interpret hot and cute to be? i think hot means someone is someone who is a more grown up appeal and cute means they are baby faced and good looking . |

Hot is sort of in a sexy way, whereas cute is more of an innocent. And plus, the word 'cute' can be applied to personalities, too. I've never ever heard someone say "Oh, he has a hot personality."

I would say 'Cute' is more of a well-mannered, crisp, clean, "innocent" as Kaycee said, look. 'Hot' means that they're more based on physical appearance, like muscles or body type, and as far as you know, they could be a player, not exactly "innocent".

Hott is like you said, more of a grown up attractive. But it also includes like an amazed-stare-worthy-ness.
Cute can just mean baby cute, or attractive but not amazingly so. |

Cute usually means a higher pitched voice (but not overly weird that way) with a baby face, too. When I think cute, I normally picture guys who don't look older than they are... Hot to me usually means a good body... with "the personality"... |
