if you want a preview, you'll have to apply the layout to the kind of place it is made for.
for example, if you made a myspace layout, you'd need to apply the code to your myspace. at that point, you'd take a screenshot. to take of screenshot, you push the prnt scrn button. ![]() it is located in different places on different keyboards. then you'll need to open up a graphics program, like paint ms or photoshop, and edit it to your liking. if you don't want to edit it, just paste it onto the palette and save it. upload it to a photo hosting site, such as photobucket or imageshack and take the code the site provides and put it in the code provided below. CODE <img src="url"> to put the code for it use this code. CODE <textarea>code</textarea> i believe that's correct. good luck. :] |

You could always just make other myspaces for the layouts, although that, to me, seems like it'd be a lot to manage. You could always make a little website of your own and view source on a myspace and post that in as the coding of your website (not a myspace).

Heres the way I would think of it. Go to view > source. Copy the entire thing. Paste it on a html page. Then just find the about me tables, (ctrl f > about me) and paste your layout code in there. Then you can change the comments and friends to your own pictures, same for the view more pics.
Then just save that HTML page. |
