List your favorite edition/feature about them!

I'm not sure if I like the way the Sidekick works. I know that they're the "it" phone right now, but all my friends who actually know about cellphones hate sidekicks. I have a Blackberry, and I am madly in love with it.

Sidekicks are way overrated.

I liked em when the Sidekick 1 first came out, after that it got annoying.

I have a SideKick 3 and I honestly don't see why people want it so much. It has pretty slow service.

Sidekicks ARE hella overrated. It got hella annoying 'cause everyone at my school like has them. It doesn't seem that great of a phone to me, I'd rather have like a Blackjack or LG chocolate or something.

They're okay and slightly overrated. Just a bit, IMO. The reason they're not my favorite is because I don't really like larger, bulkier phones. Might as well carry your computer around with you.

I voted "Neutral", and "Don't like em!". I, personally, wouldn't want to own one. But they are okay, I guess.

I think insane, hundred times a minute texting in general is way overrated, so I guess that affects my opinion on The Texting Machine, but I will admit that it seems pretty damn nifty. Like Michelle said, I have this dislike for bulkier phones. I can't imagine putting one to my ear and talking, a flip phone seems a lot more comfortable.

But call me crazy, the fact that the screen flips is such a cool feature. XD.gif Srsly. One time I flipped my friend's screen for a full five minutes, just flipping it because I thought it was so cool. zipped.gif

On the contrary, my best friend has one and I fell in love with it. They are a bit ovverrated, but on the whole they are pretty cool. Just a bit bulky, though.

yea sidekicks are overrated. if they are that big they should be that much better. i would buy it if the camera/mp3 player was much better and i wish it had more features. especially for that price.

Overrated AND I don't like them.

Maybe it's because I'm into slip and sleek phones that look sophisticated and are used for the purpose that they're built for: to CALL people.

And it annoys me when people have Danger SKs and they flip it out like it's so cool. I saw a guy do it and he ended up dropping it. It was kinda funny, but afterwards I felt sorry for him because he did it to be cool. Gotta pity that. wink.gif

As for the "flipping motion", I've seen phones that flip just like that, except they're PHONES instead of texting machines. whistling.gif Why yes, I KNOW they can be used to call. But I mean come on, that's like using a N-Gage to call people. It looks awkward to use. Yea, I'm superficial when it comes to phones. pooh.gif

Hey, at least SKs are less overrated than RAZRs.

RAZR/ROKR/RIZR/KRZR/SLVR s ALL SUCK! Boooo Motorolas!

I think they are okay, but I am not a fan of them.
Personally, I would prefer slim phones so they would fit in my pocket (y'know how girls jeans are small and I am not much into carrying a purse).
Besides, I don't text, I don't need a sidekick.

If you need a reliable tool for work, chances are that you'll buy a blackberry over this. If you like expensive gadgets just because, it doesn't really matter what you'll get. It's gonna be compulsive shopping anyway. :P

I think that they are overpriced for sure.

The device itself isn't that great of quality. A lot of the pople I know with them constantly have problems with them. I must admit that i like to text and im on them, but the actualy calling aspect of the phone isn't that great at all.

I'm excited for the OGO2.0 to come to America this summer.

I think they're extremely overrated. I think the only reason they're popular is that so many celebrities have them and are seen in public using them.

There are much better devices out there that have similar features but are much more reliable.

Plus, Sidekicks are really bulky in comparison to say, the Motorola Q (which I have)

The ID sucks. They really f**ked up on that phone. I like how it looks, but I heard everything on it is slow and lame.
